PM568 aims to correct material errors promptly and transparently. Readers may report a suspected error through the contact page and should identify the article, the statement in question and any supporting information.
How corrections are handled
- We review the original claim and the available evidence.
- We correct factual errors that could mislead readers.
- We clarify ambiguous wording when the underlying fact is accurate but unclear.
- We add an update note when a substantial correction changes the meaning or conclusion.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. We do not remove accurate material solely because it is inconvenient, but we will consider privacy, legal and safety concerns in good faith.
