Corrections Policy

Last reviewed: October 15, 2026

PM568 aims to correct material errors promptly and transparently. Readers may report a suspected error through the contact page and should identify the article, the statement in question and any supporting information.

How corrections are handled

  1. We review the original claim and the available evidence.
  2. We correct factual errors that could mislead readers.
  3. We clarify ambiguous wording when the underlying fact is accurate but unclear.
  4. We add an update note when a substantial correction changes the meaning or conclusion.

Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. We do not remove accurate material solely because it is inconvenient, but we will consider privacy, legal and safety concerns in good faith.
