World Forex is a multi-asset brokerage offering trading opportunities on MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), plus a proprietary platform. Users benefit from a commission-free pricing structure, copy trading, 30-minute withdrawals, plus welcome bonuses. But is World Forex trustworthy and reliable?

Our experts tested the broker’s account types, market access, digital contracts, live signals, and more. Read our 2022 review of World Forex to find out if you should open a trading account.

Company Details

World Forex was established in 2007 in the British Virgin Islands. In 2016, the company was acquired by Existrade Ltd, an international trading group regulated by Saint Vincent & The Grenadines Financial Services Authority (SVGFSA).

Digital Contracts

A stand-out feature of World Forex is its digital contracts. This straightforward financial instrument asks whether the price of an underlying asset will be higher or lower than the current price when the contract expires.

Similar to traditional binary options, the broker’s digital contracts have three key components; amount (trade size), direction (up or down), and time (contract expiry). Expiries range from 60 seconds to seven days. Maximum payouts for American contracts are 100% and for European contracts, it’s 85%.

A key benefit of digital contracts is that the profit potential is displayed before opening a position. World Forex also provides a useful preliminary calculator so you can work out what you stand to win or lose before you make a trade.

Other key features include:

Draw Payout – Full refund
Minimum Investment – 1 USD/1 EUR/ 10 RUR
Loss Payout – Up to 14% (European contracts only)
Maximum Investment In One Contract – 300 USD/250 EUR/15,000 RUB
Early Closing – Available on American digital contracts, not available on European digital contracts

How To Buy A Digital Contract

Login to your client portal and then open your trading profile
Select the asset/market you wish to trade using the list of instruments on the left-hand side of the platform (digital contracts tab)
Select ‘Make Investment’
An order window will pop-out
Enter the trade size, expiry time, and pending order if required

Leverage Review

When we used World Forex, we were offered high margin trading opportunities up to 1:1000.

With that said, the leverage available depends on your account balance. Accounts with a balance of $1 – $1000 can access 1:1000 leverage. This drops to 1:500 for balances between $1001 – $5000. The lowest leverage available is 1:33, which applies to balances of $100,000 or more.

With the W-CRYPTO profile, leverage varies by the total volume of opened positions. Maximum leverage of 1:25 is available on positions of 20 lots or less. A 1:1 leverage applies to positions of 100 lots or more.

A 5% stop-out level applies to all accounts except the W-CRYPTO at 20%.

Mobile App

MetaTrader 4 and 5 are available as iOS, Android, and Huawei-compatible mobile applications. The apps are designed with all the features and functionality of desktop devices but with smaller screens in mind so you can manage your profile and trade on the go.

Day traders can also download the FX Lite BO app to iOS and Android (APK) devices. This is an intuitive yet convenient application that allows you to trade digital contracts from your tablet or smartphone.

Payment Methods

Our experts were impressed with the list of accepted payment methods. This includes bank wire transfers, credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrencies.

Deals & Promotions

As an offshore broker, World Forex is able to offer financial incentives and bonuses to retail traders. Our experts found several deals for new and existing traders, including a no-deposit bonus, trading contests, a cashback club, and more.

A +100% deposit bonus is available on deposits of $100+, with free VPS access (usually $5.99).

Retail clients can also win up to $1400 as prize money with the 21-day demo trading championship. It is free to participate and a good way to put your skills to the test.

Note, always check terms and conditions before signing up.

Regulation & Licensing

World Forex operates under Existrade Ltd, regulated by Saint Vincent & The Grenadines Financial Services Authority (SVGFSA), registration number 24441. Our experts checked the registered entity list and can confirm incorporation took place on 1st March 2018.

Although it is good to see that the broker is regulated by a financial body, this is not a leading financial agency with relatively lax joining requirements. This means the broker does not have to follow the same strict retail trading safeguards that regulators like the FCA and ASIC mandate.

With that said, World Forex is an official participant of The Financial Commission. Compensation up to €20,000 is available per client in the event of a dispute.

The broker also undertakes monthly audits in association with VerifyMyTrade. Certification and ranking are renewed monthly using comparisons with other broker-dealers. Note, this service does not include a declaration of capital reserves.

Additional Features

Analytics

As well as all the features and functionality available on the World Forex trading platforms, day traders can access live market news streams, research analysis, and asset reviews. A forex calculator and live price quotes are also available on the official website.

A glossary of key terms and step-by-step guides on how to place a trade are also offered.

AutoTrade

Ideal for beginners, the copy trading service allows users to view detailed statistics about signals, visualize performance on charts and graphs, and view the risks and opportunities before subscribing.

You can also monitor performance in real-time and receive a written follow-up report on the copied position.

VPS

Day traders also benefit from access to the virtual private server (VPS). When using the World Markets VPS service, investors receive full data control, uninterrupted operations, and the possibility to control the trading system from iOS and Android devices.

You can register through the client portal. A standard $5.99 fee applies unless you qualify for the 100% joining bonus.

World Forex offers six live accounts. The best profile to open will depend on your trading style and the asset you are interested in.
