ASIA MARKETS SHORTED FOR SECOND STRAIGHT DAY

Markets in Asia declined for the second consecutive day as traders shorted stocks on news of rising infections in the region. Investors were also concerned about the US Federal Reserve tightening its easy monetary policy ahead of its earlier schedule. Markets keenly await US jobs data for indications of higher inflationary pressures on the labour market.
