Goldman Sachs Group Inc. on Thursday became the first Wall Street bank to exit Russia. Later on March 10, JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced it is also unwinding its Russian businesses, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Operating in Russia is becoming increasingly harder for Western financial institutions due to international sanctions against that country, and the growing exodus of leading firms, including financial companies.
