UK’s Sunak: Countries are seeing slowing growth and UK is not immune

On the GDP contraction, UK Finance Minister Rishi Sunak said that countries around the world are seeing slowing growth and the that the UK is not immune.

Cable drops to 1.2255 on unexpectedly negative UK April GDP number. The UK economy contracted by 0.3% vs +0.2% expected.

Among other news, Lizz Truss, UK Foreign Secretary, will deliver a statement on the Northern Ireland (NI) Protocol in the House of Commons on Monday.
